Transport, questions and answers
How quickly can I get a transport quote?
We respond within 15 minutes during business hours. A complete transport enquiry (origin, destination, weight, dimensions, date) gets you the fastest answer.
What vehicles does Exportsy offer?
We cover the full range: vans (1-1.2t), rigid trucks (3-8t) and semi-trailers, standard, mega and refrigerated (up to 24t). We match the vehicle to the cargo, not the other way round.
Do you handle temperature-controlled transport?
Yes. We run small refrigerated vans (up to 750 kg, from -25°C to +25°C) and refrigerated semi-trailers (up to 22t, 33 euro pallets). Temperature is monitored in real time.
How much does international freight forwarding cost?
The price depends on distance, weight, vehicle type and timing. As a guide: a full trailer Poland-Germany runs 800-1500 EUR, Poland-France 1200-2000 EUR, Poland-United Kingdom 1500-2500 EUR. We prepare an exact quote once we have your enquiry.
How can I track a shipment in real time?
All our vehicles are GPS equipped. You get access to online tracking and status alerts: loaded, in transit, unloaded. Your dedicated freight forwarder flags every change.
Do you offer ADR transport (dangerous goods)?
Yes. We carry ADR cargo together with certified carriers. We require the complete ADR file: safety data sheets, correct marking and compliant packaging.
What is FIX SERVICE?
FIX SERVICE is our model for ongoing cooperation: guaranteed capacity, priority handling and stable rates. We offer quarterly, half-yearly and annual contracts, which takes seasonal price and capacity swings off the table.
Warehousing, questions and answers
What warehousing services does Exportsy offer?
We offer short- and long-term storage, cross-docking, consolidation and deconsolidation, order picking and labelling. Our warehouses are monitored 24/7 with controlled access.
Where are the Exportsy warehouses located?
Our warehouses sit at strategic logistics points in Poland, with fast access to the main transport corridors and border crossings.
Do you store goods that require temperature control?
Yes. We have temperature-controlled storage space and can hold goods between -25°C and +25°C, with full monitoring of conditions.
What is the minimum storage period?
There is no minimum. We handle both ad-hoc storage (cross-docking for a few hours, for example) and long-term contracts. You are billed for the space and time actually used.
Can I check stock levels online?
Yes. Customers get access to our WMS (Warehouse Management System), where you can check stock levels and operation history at any time and generate reports.
Customs clearance, questions and answers
What does the eXcustoms team do?
eXcustoms is our customs clearance department. We handle import and export clearance, customs representation, tariff classification advice, documentation (SAD, the EU single administrative document, plus T1, T2, EUR.1 and ATR) and special procedures.
Do I need an EORI number to import?
Yes. An EORI number (Economic Operators Registration and Identification) is required for any customs operation in the EU. Registration is free and runs through PUESC, the Polish electronic customs and tax services platform. Without EORI, customs clearance is not possible.
How long does customs clearance take?
Standard customs clearance takes from a few hours to 1-2 working days. It depends on how complete the documents are, the type of goods and the workload at the customs office. With a complete file, clearance is often done the same day.
What is the difference between direct and indirect customs representation?
Under direct representation the customs agent acts in the name of and on behalf of the importer, and the importer is the customs debtor. Under indirect representation the agent acts in their own name but on behalf of the importer, and customs liability is joint and several.
What documents do I need for import customs clearance?
You need a commercial invoice, a packing list, a transport document (CMR consignment note or bill of lading), where applicable proof of origin (EUR.1, ATR), any required certificates (phytosanitary, veterinary) and the importer's EORI number.
