Is the forwarder work stressful?

In the TSL industry, it's easy to get stressed out...

It's a job where random incidents, time pressure, and the risk of making mistakes are daily. And of course, you need to make your decisions ASAP - so it's easy to overload with negative emotions.

➡️ However, sometimes stress can be good. In a modest amount, it can propel us to action, by helping with handling our tasks and difficulties. It can mobilize us to try harder and boost our focus.

But what to do if we feel overwhelmed and more incidents or tasks are coming down?

⬆️ PRIORITIES - Name the main problems or tasks and focus on the most important first.

✅ ACCEPTANCE - Accept that there are incidents that you can't control.

SHORT BRAKES - Make short brakes during the day. Go outside for the fresh air if you can.

🧘‍♂️ QUIETUDE - Learn how to relax - try yoga, meditation or breath deep.

🏞️ RELAX - Find something you like to do and take a moment to do it.

🫶 SUPPORT - Don't be afraid to ask for support from associates and your loved ones.

WORK-LIFE BALANCE - Take care of your health. Rest on holidays and at work give 100%.

Stress management is the key to feeling better mentally and physically and staying effective, which is crucial at the forwarder job, as in each service in the TSL industry.

There are many stress management training on the market, which can help employees - but also - executive cadre to maintain high scores at work and in the team.

Let's remember about ourselves while working.
