➡️ Well-qualified workers

Continuous upskilling your employees, raising their awareness and sensitivity to various frauds and current threats. Your workers need to know what kind of fraud they or their transports can fall into. Company policy and obeying standards are also significant.

➡️ Technics

It is worth investing in professional programs that help secure clients' data and the company's data, but also that can help with constantly monitoring transports. It will protect the company from financial losses and save its face and professionalism on the market.

🔸 Furthermore, according to the European Union Directive regarding cybernetic safety that aims at raising safety levels - from October this year - member states of the European Union have time to implement it into a national law. From that moment, cybernetic safety standards will be an obligation. Not something good to have.

➡️ Law

These things should be apparent to everyone in this industry. Checking every word in contracts, transport companies' statutes, and purchase of accurate insurance. Or less obvious - a record of trademark. It will avoid unpleasant surprises but also prevent false personation by frauds.

➡️ Parking

While route planning, you should take care of safe and secure car parks where your truck will stop. Thanks to that, the Driver will sleep peacefully, and the Customer won't receive a disagreeable message about cargo theft.

🔸 Car parks in Europe were classified into four levels. If the parking lot has a low level of security - it is marked with bronze, medium-silver, and high level with gold and platinum. Where at the highest level license plate recognition system is standard. However not always car parks marked by SSTPA (Secure and Safe Truck Parking Areas) can be found. Nevertheless, Drivers should always stop at secure parking lots.

➡️ Contingency plan

It is worth having procedures and contingency plans in case of thefts, car breakdowns, malfunction of information systems, and others. Such procedures will help keep employees cool during crises but also clearly state what to do.

The safety and repute of the TSL industry every day is put to the test. Let's take care of maintaining professionalism on the market.
